Development Classes
Stretching able students beyond the standard curriculum.
Our Development Classes are for students who are ready to go beyond the standard curriculum — those who finish the work quickly, ask the extra question, and want a real challenge.
What we offer
- Enrichment beyond the syllabus — harder problems, deeper topics and independent projects in Mathematics, the Sciences and English.
- Olympiad and competition preparation — coaching for national and international competitions, where our students have a proud record.
- Examination stretch — targeted work aimed at the top Cambridge grades.
- Skills for university — research, presentation and critical-thinking skills that make the step up to higher education far easier.
Students are invited into Development Classes on the recommendation of their teachers, and groups are deliberately kept small so that every student is genuinely stretched.
