Guest Lectures
Parents and professionals sharing their expertise with students.
Our Guest Lectures programme brings parents and professionals into school to talk to our students about the work they actually do — the training, the daily reality, the rewards and the challenges.
Why it matters
- Students hear about careers from people doing the job, not from a textbook.
- It connects what they are studying now with where it could take them.
- It broadens ambition — many students discover careers they had never considered.
- It strengthens the link between our school and our parent community.
Recent talks
- Careers in Medicine — a parent and practising doctor on the realities and rewards of medicine.
- The World of Engineering — how engineers shape the world around us, with real project stories.
- Entrepreneurship & Business — starting and running a business in Mozambique.
Would you like to speak?
If you are a parent who would be willing to talk to our students about your profession, we would love to hear from you. A talk takes about an hour, and the impact lasts far longer.
