Supportive Lessons
Extra help so no learner is ever left behind.
No learner at Birlik is ever left behind. Our Supportive Lessons programme gives extra help to students who need more time, more practice or simply a different explanation to master a topic.
How it works
- Teachers identify students who need support through everyday classwork, homework and assessments — well before an examination.
- Small-group or one-to-one sessions are arranged outside normal lesson time, focused on the specific topics a student is finding difficult.
- Sessions concentrate on the core subjects — English, Mathematics and the Sciences — with other subjects added where there is a need.
- Students who are new to English-medium learning receive targeted language support so they can access the whole curriculum with confidence.
- Parents are kept informed of what is being covered and how their child is progressing.
The aim is simple: every child should be able to keep up, catch up, and then move forward with confidence.
